This small batch, late harvest Traminette has myriad aromas of wild flowers, orange blossoms, honeysuckle, jasmine, and peonies on the nose. As for the palate, a complex blend of orange rind, honey, apricot preserves, and dried pineapple. It has a well-balanced acidy, and a long lingering finish. We think of this as a mixed fruit compote in the form of a wine.

Traminette grapes were sourced from Rock Mill Vineyard and picked later for heightened ripeness to yield a sweet, but full wine.
Bottled on June 11th, 2018. The Traminette was picked in November when the fruit had slightly raisin-ed, then pressed immediately. It was fermented and aged in stainless steel tank for seven months. Best consumed in two years and will last for 15 years.
Food Pairing Notes
This is a traditional European style dessert wine. Designed for after dinner, and can be paired perfectly with cheesecake, crème brulée, flan, and other custard-based desserts.
