The 2019 Traminette exudes pleasant aromas of wildflowers, rose hips, lemon grass and subtle tropical fruits. The palate brings flavors of key lime, creamy fruit custard, and citrus zest, leading one just to the threshold of sweetness. Crisp acidity helps balance the 2019 Traminette with pleasing structure, with a lingering finish on the back palate.
The Traminette grapes were hand picked and immediately destemmed and pressed. The juice was then transferred into stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled fermentation. After fermentation, the wine was aged in stainless steel, cold stabilized, and fined with clay before filtering and bottling.
