The 2019 Barrel Select Malbec expresses aromas of earl grey tea leaves, wild blueberries, fresh basil, and a hint of vanilla. The palate is bursting with flavors of dark berries, dried plums and a hint of black pepper with strong tannins and a long finish.
The grapes for the 2019 Barrel Select Malbec were destemmed, crushed and fermented for two week. The fermented grapes were then pressed off the skins, settled into the tank, and racked into barrels. The wine was aged for 11 months in neutral and new American Oak before bottling. This wine was made in a small batch exclusively for Wine Club members.
