The critically acclaimed 2018 Petit Verdot leads with a nose of black currant, cloves, and black licorice. The palate is alive with bold flavors of Bing cherries, black licorice and a hint of black pepper. This long-legged wine is medium-bodied and features a smooth finish with grippy, lingering tannins.

The grapes for the 2018 Petit Verdot were de-stemmed, crushed, and fermented in open top vats using the punch down method to turn over the cap and extract the optimal color and flavor. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is pressed into tanks, settled, and pumped into barrels. It is then aged in 100% American Oak barrels for 10 months. During the aging process, the wine is racked, tested, and then bottled.
