Pale yellow in color, the 2018 Viognier exudes aromatics of lime, honeydew, banana, and a hint of wildflowers. Delightful flavors of guava, coconut lime verbena, and honey fill the palate, then smoothly transition into a soft, juicy, and long finish for this medium bodied wine with a creamy texture and full mouthfeel.

The Viognier grapes were lightly pressed on the stems to maintain skin and seed structure and release their natural juices. Twenty percent of the juice was fermented and aged in acacia barrels to impart a creamy texture to the wine and the remaining 80% was aged in stainless steel tanks to enhance the fruit flavors of the Viognier. Prior to bottling, the wines were careful blended to the winemaker’s preference, ensuring a delicate mix of tropical fruit flavors and aromas.
