This estate Rosé embodies the Provence-style; very softly pressed to create a light-bodied, easy-going wine. Softly aromatic with hints of blood orange, honeydew, and lemon. The palate delivers sweet nectarine at the front, then gives way to cantaloupe melon as acidity drives home the finish.
Chambourcin grapes were sourced from The Winery at Bull Run’s vineyards at Rock Mill in Little Washington, VA.
Chambourcin grapes were harvested in October of 2017, and immediately de-stemmed and pressed. The pale pink juice was then transferred into stainless steel tanks for temperature controlled fermentation. The wine was aged in stainless steel until filtration and bottling.
