Tasting Notes
With a nose of lemon-lime, cantaloupe, and lilac, the zippy palate meets the tongue with notes of lemon drop candy and yellow apple. This medium-bodied Riesling has a refreshing wet limestone minerality throughout. The high-acidity lingers, making it a perfect pairing for white fish, shellfish, or hard cheeses.
Vineyard Notes
Riesling grapes were sourced from multiple vineyards in Central Virginia and Oregon.
Winemaker Notes
All grapes were harvested in mid-September of 2017, and immediately de-stemmed and crushed. The juice was transferred into stainless steel tanks for temperature controlled fermentation. After filtration, the wine was aged in stainless steel for a total of 4.5 months until bottled on February 27, 2018.

Fabulous for warm weather sipping, The Winery at Bull Run’s 2017 Riesling should be enjoyed with oysters, pasta salad, or ceviche.
