Named after the youngest member of the Hickox Family, the 2017 Lilly’s Viognier has delightful fragrances of dried wild flowers, honeysuckle, and jasmine on the nose. The palate yields flavors of guava, papaya, nectarines, and other tropical fruit with mild acidity and a medium-long finish. The Lilly’s Viognier has a rich palate balanced with a silky texture.

Viognier grapes were sourced from premier vineyards in Central Virginia, including Rock Mill vineyard, and picked at the peak of ripeness.
Bottled on June 11, 2018. It was fermented in 100% stainless steel, stirred, and then pumped into new and neutral Acacia barrels, and then stirred again on the light lees for eight months. Best if consumed after 12 months and can age for four to six years.
