|Date:||Sat, May 22, 2021|
|Time||7:30 PM to 10:30 PM|
Join us for an outdoor screening of the classic 80s comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" !
The Winery closes to the public at 7PM and will re-open to ticketholders at 7:30PM. Picnic tables and chairs in front of the movie screen will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Table reservations are not necessary for this event - your movie ticket is all you need.
Social distancing between parties will be observed, and face masks will be required whenever you are not sitting.
Between 7:30-8:30, hang out and catch up with friends, and purchase plenty of wine and food from the food truck, The Broritos. Find a seat by 8:30 in time for the movie to begin! Wine will continue to be available for purchase up until last call at 10:15PM.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: If it is only light rain, the event will go on as planned. We do have some tables available under the Family Tent near the movie screen, and umbrellas will be allowed on the sidelines (as long as they do not block others' view). If severe weather is likely (such as thunder and lightning), the movie night will be postponed.
Q: What happens if the weather is severe enough that the event is canceled or postponed?
A: We will do everything in our power to reschedule the event. Ticketholders will be notified if a new date is picked. Those who are unable to attend the new date will be given a Winery at Bull Run gift card for the amount they paid for their tickets, and those tickets will be made available to the public. If the Winery is unable to find a new date to hold the event, all ticketholders will be given a gift card to the Winery for the amount they paid for their tickets.
Q: Can I bring a blanket or my own portable chair to sit in?
A: Yes, you can bring a blanket or your own chair and place it where you like in front of the screen as long as your party is at least 6 feet from any other party for social distancing. The Winery will also make some folding chairs available to moviegoers on a first-come, first-served basis. Just ask a staff member if you would like one.
Q: The event is sold out, but I have a friend who really wants to come. Is that OK?
A: Due to the special license we must purchase in order to have the right to show this film, we cannot go over 200 guests. Also, Virginia regulations still prohibit outdoor gatherings of more than 250 people, and we have to account for staff in addition to the 200 ticketholders.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks to enjoy during the film?
A: Our food and beverage policies will remain the same as any other day for this event. Outside food is allowed since all tables are located outdoors. Outside beverages including water are always prohibited. This also includes Bull Run wines previously purchased - according to Virginia ABC law, once a bottle of wine leaves the premises it cannot be brought back. Thank you for your cooperation!
