Please note that, as of Friday March 26, 2021, we are no longer able to offer Curbside Pickup for online orders. Pick up orders are still available. Please ask for your order at the bar in the main tasting room. Thank you for your understanding.
We are now offering self-guided wine tastings! Wine tastings are $15 and include 6 of our favorite wines and tasting notes for each wine. The self-guided wine tasting can be purchased at the bar and enjoyed at your table.
Outside Food & Beverage Policy
We do not allow outside beverages of any kind, including water. Outside food is NOT allowed in the patio or indoor seating areas. You may, however, bring your own food to the winery to enjoy at any of our outdoor picnic tables. You may transport your food in picnic baskets, lunch boxes, and shoulder bags with ice packs. Large coolers are not allowed. We also have Food Vendors on-site every Friday-Sunday. Click here to learn more about our food and beverage policies.
Historical Tours are every Friday at 1:30PM & 3:30PM and every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30AM, 1:30PM, & 3:30PM. Walk our historic estate and learn about the rich Civil War history behind these breathtaking, hallowed grounds. This outdoor walking tour lasts about an hour and includes one glass of wine from our current tasting flight to enjoy on your tour. A tour without wine is also available.

Enjoy our lawn in front of the Hillwood Mansion ruins! A limited number of park benches are available or you may bring your own blanket and enjoy a winery picnic facing our Norton vineyard. While we like to think our views rival those of any public park, we are a privately-owned farm winery and ask that if you choose to enjoy our property, facilities, and staff that come along with it, you support us with the purchase of our Virginia grown wine.
During the reopening plan we must follow and abide by the guidelines laid out by the CDC and the Virginia Governor’s office.
All outdoor areas must meet social distancing spacing guidelines and will be marked accordingly.
Due to this fact, if inclement weather is approaching the property, management reserves the right to ask all guests to return to their cars for the duration of the weather event. If the inclement weather is severe, we would ask that all guests seated anywhere on our lawn seating depart the property.
If you are seated on our first come-first served lawn picnic tables, you cannot move into the patio or tented areas for cover under any circumstance. Remember social distancing!
All reservation fees are non-refundable.
Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
